I had my hair done by the lovely Danielle at Jarah Hair & Day Spa and it’s still feeling as silky as ever a month later. My hair is generally healthy as I’ve only ever had a few natural highlights, so I’ve never experienced any colour damage. However, it always feels extra healthy after I’ve had it done by Danielle every 4 months or so.
Danielle, like everyone else, tells me I have crazily thick, long hair, which is why it takes her about 4 hours to do my highlights, cut and blow dry. After all of that, she even curls my hair making me feel like Carrie Bradshaw stepping out onto the streets of NYC (in reality, Derby is far from the same).
Here are some of the products Danielle used when blow drying and styling my hair:
Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment– She added this blend of macademia nut oil and argan seed oil to my wet ,combed hair. It is a light-weight solution that nourishes and rejuvenates every strand. It also gives UV protection and extends the life of colour treatments. This left my locks feeling ultra smooth and sleek, which lasted for days.
TIGI Bed Head Small Talk: Thickifier, Energiser, Styliser Cream – this ‘triple play’ formula created fullness and volume, whilst hydrating my mane and minimising frizz. The best part is it works on any hair type and length. Btw the blueberry scent is to die for!
TIGI Bed Head Masterpiece Massive Shine Spray – This hair spray has a super hold, so it can be used sparingly and adds that slight glossy shine to your curls. It is humidity resistant so the body and shape it gives your hair should last all day. It smells better than most other hairsprays too.
